M&A Senior Analyst / Associate, Technology

Metis Search are partnered with a leading U.S. investment bank to hire a Senior Analyst / Associate into its Technology M&A team in London.

With consistent exposure to upper-mid-market and large-cap, sponsor-led processes, the quality of work is a key differentiator. The role offers meaningful responsibility from an early stage, with exposure across the full transaction lifecycle and the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers, clients and advisers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the execution of M&A transactions across the Technology sector.
2. Build financial models and valuation analyses.
3. Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and transaction documentation.
4. Conduct company, industry and market analysis to support M&A execution and strategic advice.
5. Work closely with senior bankers, clients and external advisers throughout live transactions.
6. Contribute to business development and the identification of new M&A opportunities.

Key Requirements:

1. 2-6 years of investment banking experience.
2. Exposure to upper-mid-market and large-cap M&A processes.
3. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills.
4. Proven experience working on live M&A transactions.
5. Technology sector experience is advantageous, but not essential.
6. Commercially minded, analytical and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
7. Clear and confident communicator with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders.
