Senior Structural Engineer (Project Manager) Merseyside | Hybrid Working £50-£60 per hour Initial 6-Month Contract (Likely Extension) Help manage a £2.5 billion infrastructure portfolio We're supporting a major public-sector organisation in the Merseyside Region to appoint an experienced Civil / Structural Engineer (Project Manager).Working within the Asset Management team, you'll lead the planning and delivery of structural and civil engineering projects across a diverse operational estate, including the Mersey Tunnels, ferry terminals, bus depots, operational hubs and associated infrastructure.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile assets, managing projects from initial scoping and condition assessment through to delivery.

The Role Lead structural and civil engineering projects across a varied asset portfolio<br />Review condition surveys and technical reports to develop project scopes<br />Manage consultants, contractors and key stakeholders<br />Oversee project delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time and within budget<br />What We're Looking For A proactive and well-rounded Structural Engineer with broad-ranging experience across a variety of sectors such as:

Buildings<br />Infrastructure<br />Civil Engineering<br />Transportation<br />Public Realm / Asset Management<br />(Local government exposure would be highly desirable)You'll be comfortable managing projects, coordinating stakeholders and applying sound engineering judgement within complex operational environments.
