Senior Highways Engineer

With a keen interest in projects helping to support the shift to active travel and sustainable design, their team is passionate about making a real difference in transforming infrastructure to provide environments that people can enjoy and thrive in.<br />Your new role<br />With a robust pipeline of interesting civil engineering and public realm design projects, the Senior Highways Design Engineer will join the Highways team and lead on the delivery of various TfL design projects.<br />You will also be tasked with managing multiple projects and leading delivery teams on schemes including town centre redevelopments, new cycle ways, civic squares, junction improvements and carriageway maintenance schemes to name a few. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Coordinating and cooperating with the Contractor throughout the design and built
• Assisting the delivery team to ensure project work is technically correct
• Managing projects in accordance with Client requirements
• Helping to support junior team members to produce exceptionally high-quality outputs<br />About you<br />The Senior Highways Design Engineer would ideally have a 5 years of London-centric experience under their belt. They will bring energy and enthusiasm to the team and have keen client and stakeholder liaison skills. It would be great if you can tick off most of the below:
• Strong CAD skills (Civil 3D desirable)
