What you’ll be doing as a Senior Software Engineer Designing and developing software for advanced autonomous systems<br />Supporting integration and delivery activities across complex engineering projects<br />Collaborating with hardware, systems and domain experts throughout the development lifecycle<br />Engaging directly with end users to refine functionality and performance<br />Taking a lead role in development discussions and cross-team collaboration What you’ll bring as a Senior Software Engineer Proven experience in software design and delivery<br />A degree (or equivalent experience) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline<br />Knowledge of autonomous system architectures and the marine or defence domain<br />Strong understanding of software engineering processes, tools, and lifecycles<br />Experience working in multi-disciplinary engineering environments Technical skills required by the Senior Software Engineer Essential:

Java development<br />Java build systems (e.g. Maven)<br />Experience with the Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)<br />Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality principlesDesirable: HMI / UI development (e.g.
