Job Title - Technical Writer with Change & Release Management

Required Qualifications
● Approximately 8–10 years of hands-on experience in technical writing and functional/project documentation. (Note: this reflects the incumbent''s profile; adjust the minimum to fit your needs.)
● Bachelor''s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
● Proven experience creating and maintaining a variety of documentation types: user manuals, installation guides, release notes, data dictionaries, requirements documents, and training materials.
● Strong proofreading, editing, and quality assurance skills with excellent command of grammar, style, clarity, and consistency.
● Experience working within Agile teams and producing release documentation.
● Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio.
● Familiarity with document accessibility standards (Section 508 compliance).
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical staff and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
● Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
● SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager certification or equivalent Agile credential.
● Experience with Agile lifecycle management tooling (e.g., Digital.ai Agility or similar).
● Experience with SharePoint and Atlassian Confluence for document authoring and collaboration.
● Experience supporting change management tools (e.g., SAP ChaRM) or documenting system changes in an enterprise ERP/financial systems environment.
● Familiarity with configuration management and process improvement practices.
● Experience in a government/federal contracting environment; active or eligible for Public Trust clearance may be required depending on the client.
