About Job Description: 

We are seeking a Senior MicroStrategy Data Engineer/Developer to join our client in media PA for contract project. 

Future consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise business intelligence solutions using the MicroStrategy platform. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer with strong SQL and data engineering expertise who can work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performance analytics solutions

Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy Dossiers, Reports, Dashboards, and Documents.
• Build and manage MicroStrategy metadata, schemas, attributes, facts, metrics, filters, and transformations.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database objects.
• Design and support scalable data models for reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Integrate data from multiple enterprise data sources.
• Perform performance tuning for MicroStrategy applications and SQL queries.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, and production support.
• Document technical designs, development standards, and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of Business Intelligence and analytics development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on MicroStrategy development experience.
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, or Teradata.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems. 
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum

Preferred/nice to have:

• Retail or convenience store industry experience.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with ETL tools and data integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with enterprise reporting and analytics best
