Procurement Analyst

Title: Procurement Analyst
Location: Long Island City, New York

• This is a fully onsite role

Duration: Long Term

Job Duties:

• Issue solicitations, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Analyze proposals and bids, and conduct cost and price analyses.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with federal, state, and city regulations, including the Procurement Policy Board (PPB) rules. Prepare detailed reports on procurement status, metrics, and outcomes.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing expert advice on procurement strategies and procedures. Work closely with legal, finance, and program teams.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and a strong problem-solver. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of government procurement rules, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Education and Experience:

• A bachelor''s degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement or a related field. Experience in a large, complex organization is preferred.
