Senior / Lead Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS)

With close to 100 Consultants and more than 10 years delivering successful data projects for our customers, our teams work on complex and diverse projects with organizations ranging from the largest local enterprises to SMEs and start-ups across multiple industries.

We are currently seeking experienced Senior / Lead Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS) to join our growing Data Practice and support a major data transformation program within a leading financial services organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate the AWS platform supporting our client's modern Enterprise Data Platform.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform across AWS serverless environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.
• Implement secure, repeatable deployment processes that align with banking governance and compliance requirements.
• Support Kubernetes-based platform components where required while focusing primarily on AWS cloud services.
• Build reusable platform components that enable Data Engineers to deliver data products efficiently.
• Improve platform reliability, scalability, security, and observability through automation and engineering best practices.
• Partner with Data Engineering teams to enable seamless deployment of modern data solutions.

• Kubernetes
• Argo
• Serverless AWS architectures
• IAM, networking and security
• Monitoring and observability
• Enterprise cloud engineering experience

Desirable

• Financial Services industry experience.
• Consulting experience within client-facing environments.
• Experience delivering large-scale cloud migration or modernisation programs.
• Exposure to modern data lake, lakehouse, and distributed data processing architectures.
