Job Description

Virtualization Systems Engineer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 Days onsite)

W2 Candidates only

 

Must have Skills:

OpenShift

VMware

Kubernetes

Red hat Linux

Ceph Storage

Python scripting

 

 

Need Virtualization Systems Engineers to implement VM automation, using OpenShift.  Team is moving from Open stack to Virtual using OpenShift

IaaS team (Infra as Service) for Private Cloud

Team is responsible for Deployments, working with vendors like Broadcom

Optimizing Server Devices 

Looking to automate processes to fit large scale environment 

Need Virtualization Systems Engineers to implement VM automation, using Openshift.  Team is moving from Openstack to Virtual using Openshift

 

Team will work on:

Bare metal provisioning

Compute, Storage, networking technologies

Performance testing VMs

Deployments at scale using openshift​

 

Nice to have:

KVM

Kubevert

S3

HyperV

Express configuration as code (IaC)

vSphere, ESXi, VCF, vRealize, Nutanix, NSX-T

Experience migrating from Openstack to Virtual machines
