Operations Manager (realistic Supervisory Level) – OTC essential – Asset Management - CassonX
Quick Overview
Job Description
CassonX are thrilled to be recruiting for one of the fastest growing Asset Management companies in Europe, boasting a $15bn AUM, investing in many asset classes and wide reaching strategies across UCITS and Cayman structures. Not only have they this year already launched 5 new funds, and have very much an open-door policy to the front office, this company has built an incredible culture where everyone is nice, educated, a strong work ethic, hybrid working conditions and all staff are very hands on in their approach (something very important for hire too). They offer a very low turnover of staff, especially worth noting they reward long service for those who have committed to at least 4 years in their employment with more holiday and enhancements to wider benefits. This role has become available because the current incumbent has been internally moved to a front office team based on performance.
Whilst this role is titled Operations Manager, CassonX are looking to identify someone who is more of a Senior Analyst or Supervisor who would like to be rewarded with a promotion after 6/9 months with more responsibility once proven. You must have strong knowledge of OTC products (Swaptions, TRS FXO, bond options etc) to be considered, and your experience will be gained in a buyside institution. You must be able demonstrate experience of dealing with trade lifecycles for OTC, working with Custodians and Administrators, and dealing with the investigations of Broker reports. It is essential that you have worked closely with a front office team, even investigating PnL queries, but preference will be given to those who also showcase experience of supporting Treasury needs (collateral, margin management, cash management, funding etc) and working on projects (regulation changes, reporting, MI, automations through Python/VBA/SQL, onboarding). If you can start immediately or with a short notice period, given the internal move, then this is deemed hugely advantageous.
Having oversight of a small team, your primary role will be to make sure that all OTC transactions are successfully maintained, manage all trade flows, and support all projects the team may need. You will supervise a team of less experienced individuals and give guidance to, but bridge the gap of supervising BAU day-to-day requirements on behalf of the Head of Operations. A detailed job description is only available to those who submit a relevant CV.
CassonX Limited are committed to providing fair employment opportunities to all applicants. We encourage anyone to apply, regardless of their background, and promote a fair and inclusive recruitment process based on merit. If you require any assistance throughout the interview process to improve your experience, kindly let us know.
