Role Summary
A senior-level Technical Architect with over 15 years of experience in enterprise software development and architectural design. The role involves leading the design and development of scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions with a focus on Java full-stack technologies, microservices architecture, and telecommunications network technologies. The successful candidate will oversee complex integrations, identity and access management, and cloud infrastructure to support mission-critical enterprise applications.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop enterprise-grade microservices utilizing Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Kafka.
- Design and implement API-first architectures using REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, and event-driven systems.
- Lead integrations with OSS/BSS, NMS, EMS, and other telecom network management systems.
- Develop and manage network orchestration workflows for provisioning, inventory, and assurance use cases.
- Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Keycloak, OAuth2/OIDC, SSO, RBAC, and federation strategies.
- Build and deploy cloud-native applications with Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and establish CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure system resilience, observability, and security through best practices such as mTLS, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Implement observability frameworks using OpenTelemetry, including distributed tracing, metrics, and centralized logging.
- Mentor development teams, conduct architecture reviews, and ensure high-quality documentation and technical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in software development and architecture within enterprise environments.
- Proven leadership in architecture, design, and technical governance for large-scale solutions.
- Extensive knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, security, and cloud-native development.
- Hands-on experience with SDN/EMS/NMS, OSS/BSS integration, and telecom domain technologies.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, OpenAPI, and microservices frameworks.
- Proficiency with Kafka, React.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions like Keycloak, OAuth 2.0, SSO, RBAC, and federation.
- Familiarity with observability tools, including OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent collaboration, leadership, and communication skills in agile and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; remote work setup permitted.
Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00 hourly
This position is based in remote and can be performed from an approved location.
