Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the project team on a major mixed-use development project. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the mechanical services package from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover.<br />Mechanical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the mechanical services package throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage mechanical subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist contractors.
  • Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, structural, architectural and other building services disciplines.
  • Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and design information.
  • Monitor programme, progress, quality and installation standards.
  • Manage procurement, materials, plant and specialist equipment.
  • Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, programme and budget.
  • Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues, design clashes and construction constraints.
  • Monitor health &amp; safety and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and project requirements.
  • Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover of mechanical systems.
  • Maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation.
  • Work closely with the Project Director / Construction Manager to ensure successful project delivery.<br />Mechanical Project Manager

Requirements:

  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the construction or building services sector.
  • Strong experience delivering mechanical services on large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use developments.
  • Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, plumbing and associated systems.
  • Strong understanding of construction programmes, project controls and subcontractor management.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under programme pressure.<br />To apply: Please submit your CV below
