Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join the project team on a major mixed-use development project. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the mechanical services package from pre-construction through installation, commissioning and handover.<br />Mechanical Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the mechanical services package throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage mechanical subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist contractors.
- Coordinate mechanical works with electrical, structural, architectural and other building services disciplines.
- Review drawings, specifications, technical submissions and design information.
- Monitor programme, progress, quality and installation standards.
- Manage procurement, materials, plant and specialist equipment.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, programme and budget.
- Chair and attend coordination and progress meetings.
- Identify and resolve technical issues, design clashes and construction constraints.
- Monitor health & safety and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and project requirements.
- Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover of mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate project records, reports and documentation.
- Work closely with the Project Director / Construction Manager to ensure successful project delivery.<br />Mechanical Project Manager
Requirements:
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the construction or building services sector.
- Strong experience delivering mechanical services on large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use developments.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical building services, including HVAC, heating, ventilation, plumbing and associated systems.
- Strong understanding of construction programmes, project controls and subcontractor management.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under programme pressure.<br />To apply: Please submit your CV below
