Servicenow Developer

We are seeking a ServiceNow Developer with strong experience in designing, developing, and implementing enterprise ServiceNow solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with UI Builder, modern ServiceNow development practices, and customization of core platform capabilities. This is an onsite role supporting enterprise digital transformation initiatives at ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications using platform best practices.
• Build modern user experiences using UI Builder and the Now Experience Framework.
• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
• Configure and customize ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and CMDB.
• Develop workflows using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and Workflow Editor.
• Create scalable scoped applications using App Engine Studio.
• Develop REST and SOAP integrations with enterprise applications.
• Design reusable UI Builder pages, components, data resources, and client state parameters.
• Participate in Service Portal modernization and migration to UI Builder where applicable.
• Perform platform upgrades, update set management, and release deployments.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Follow Agile methodologies and ServiceNow development best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong experience with UI Builder and Now Experience Framework.
• Expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, and ACLs.
• Experience with ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge, and CMDB.
• Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and App Engine Studio.
• Experience developing REST/SOAP integrations.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow security, scoped applications, and platform architecture.
• Experience with Update Sets, Git, and Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
