Network Engineer(F5 Load Balancing)

Only W2 (No C2C/1099)

Role: Network Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ/Irving, TX (Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite)

Contract: 18 months (possible extension)

Core Function

• Part of fulfillment team supporting load balancing implementations
• Works within large-scale data center migration (3K–4K apps)
• Handles ticket-driven work (Jira) including:
• Config updates (health checks, ratios, failover)
• Troubleshooting & implementation support
• Fully hands-on, desk-based (no data center work)

Technical Requirements (Refined)

Top Priorities:

• Strong F5 load balancing experience (most critical skill)
• Solid understanding of:
• Load balancing concepts (failover, traffic routing, ratios)
• Networking fundamentals (routers/switches/firewalls OR equivalent system-level knowledge)

Flexible Backgrounds Accepted:

• Traditional network engineers
• Systems/Unix engineers with strong infrastructure understanding
• Candidates with adjacent experience who understand how systems communicate

Nice-to-Have:

• VMware NSX (AVI) – migration target (F5 → VMware)
• Basic Python (no heavy dev required)

Not Required:

• Automation development (handled by another team)
• Deep programming
