Regional Human Resources Business Partner
Quick Overview
Job Description
Regional HR Business Partner - North West - c£65,000 plus car - Permanent
This is a great opportunity for a HRBP who loves being embedded in the business and supporting commercial leaders and stakeholders in front line, customer facing roles.
Who is the business?
A growing and successful multi site retail business with strong values and and a people centric approach (both customer and employee). With ongoing transformation covering all aspects of how they operate, they aim to improve both the customer and employee experience by embracing technology while retaining the human touch.
What is the role?
A supportive and hands on Regional HRBP role, partnering with cluster leaders and managers in a defined region. You will be their go to person for all things people. With ownership for translating and embedding the HR plan for your area you will work closely with leaders to support ER activity, upskilling leaders and enabling them to create a positive, open and collaborative culture while having the confidence to deal with issues when they arise.
You will keep leaders updated with legislative changes, bringing employment law to life for them while helping them apply it in a pragmatic and appropriate way.
You will also be responsible for supporting talent and succession planning programmes in the area, along with identifying and addressing skills and capability gaps across the team.
Who are we looking for?
A truly commercial HRBP, who has strong generalist experience with a particular bias to ER and coaching managers. Knowledge of talent and succession planning would be highly advantageous too, and the ability to work at pace with multiple stakeholders.
This is a regional role with travel (expected 2-3 days on the road) so you must be comfortable travelling across a region. This role would suit someone from a retail / multi-site background, ideally with a home location around the North West / Yorkshire / Midlands region.
To be considered for the top end of the range you must demonstrate extensive Employee Relations experience, coupled with wider generalist knowledge.
Due to holidays during the summer period please bear with a slight delay in response.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion are integral to everything that we do. We are committed to these values, and they are central to our mission. We encourage applications from all backgrounds and communities, and we are more than happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments that you may require.
