Java/Spring Boot/OMS (Order Management System)/Blue Yonder OR IBM Sterling OMS

REST APIs/Microservices/Team Lead experience

 Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Lead with strong expertise in Order Management Systems (OMS) to lead the design, development, and integration of enterprise retail and supply chain applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Blue Yonder OMS, IBM Sterling OMS, or similar OMS platforms, along with strong Java development skills.

Required Skills

8+ years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE application development.

Strong experience with Order Management Systems (OMS).

Hands-on experience with one or more OMS platforms:

Blue Yonder OMS

IBM Sterling OMS

Manhattan OMS (preferred)

Fluent Commerce or similar OMS platforms

Strong knowledge of Java 8/11+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, REST APIs, Microservices.

Experience with system integrations, APIs, messaging (Kafka/JMS), and web services.

Strong SQL skills with Oracle or SQL Server.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Supply Chain domains.

Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) is a plus.

CI/CD experience using Jenkins, Git, Maven, or similar tools.

Experience integrating OMS with ERP, WMS, and eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of enterprise OMS solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.

Develop scalable Java-based microservices and APIs.

Integrate OMS with external enterprise systems.

Review code, mentor developers, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Participate in architecture discussions and production support activities.
