Job Description

Role: Network Product & Platform Architect - SDN/NFV & SD-WAN

Location: Richardson, TX - Onsite

Key Responsibilities:

Define and drive architecture and technology strategy for SDN/NFV and SD-WAN platforms.
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of network products and platforms, from planning and design through implementation and ongoing support.
Develop and maintain SD-WAN product roadmaps, technical standards, and platform capabilities.
Collaborate with engineering, operations, product, and business teams to define network platform requirements.
Lead the integration of SD-WAN solutions with existing network infrastructure, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
Evaluate new networking technologies, products, and vendor solutions.
Provide technical leadership for network platform modernization and transformation initiatives.
Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of network platforms.
Work with vendors and technology partners on product evaluation, integration, and issue resolution.
Develop architecture documentation, technical designs, and implementation strategies.

Required Skills:

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware VeloCloud, Versa, Fortinet, or Aruba EdgeConnect.
Knowledge of network protocols including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IPSec, and VPN.
Experience with network APIs and platform integration.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform for network automation.
