About the Role

We are seeking an experiencedQuality Manager to join our AMT executive team and lead our global quality function and drive continuous improvement across the business. Reporting to the General Manager AMT, you will shape and execute the quality strategy, strengthen quality systems, and enhance the overall customer experience. You'll lead a team of quality professionals, partner with cross functional stakeholders, and work closely with customers and suppliers to deliver measurable improvements in quality performance. This is a strategic leadership role with a hands on approach, requiring strong influence, collaboration, and a focus on driving real business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Shape and lead the global Quality & Continuous Improvement strategy, aligning initiatives to business goals and driving measurable results.
  • Drive customer focused quality improvements by identifying trends, resolving recurring issues, and prioritising high impact projects.
  • Champion a strong quality culture across the organisation, embedding accountability and educating teams on the value of quality.
  • Oversee and enhance global quality systems and processes, ensuring ongoing certification, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the senior quality representative with customers and suppliers, strengthening relationships and ensuring quality standards are achieved.
  • Lead and develop high performing teams, fostering cross functional collaboration and delivering on strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor performance and governance, including KPIs, reporting, regulatory compliance, and health & safety standards.
Required Skills & Knowledge
  • Extensive experience in the machine tool industry
  • Well developed communication skills to establish and maintain business relationships
  • Ability to influence across and up the organisation to effectively negotiate and persuade others
  • Ability to prioritise and complete multiple projects with deadlines and budget constraints
  • Effectively manages projects to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
  • Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with cross functional internal departments and external suppliers
  • Consistently display a professional image and executive temperament.
