Job Summary:
• Our client is seeking a skilled Java Engineer for a contract role in Mississauga, Canada. 
• This senior technology position involves architecting and delivering enterprise-scale applications using modern technologies. 
• The successful candidate will lead technical direction, establish engineering standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure scalable and secure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of applications using Java and modern frameworks.
• Define architecture standards and drive modernization initiatives.
• Design scalable solutions leveraging asynchronous messaging patterns.
• Provide technical leadership for cloud-native applications and platform modernization.
• Ensure compliance with technology risk, security, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:
• 8 years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java development.
• Proven experience in a senior technical leadership role.
• Strong experience designing distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
