Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Miramar Vets on a full-time basis. We are also open to part-time applications.

 

We are a small animal practice on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast, with a team of 4 vets, 3 RVNS, 1 SVN, 1 VCA and 4 Receptionists. We’re proud to offer a full IDEXX suite, ultrasound, dedicated X-ray facilities, endoscope, and bronchoscope. As an ISFM Silver practice and a Dog Friendly accredited practice, we’re committed to delivering outstanding standards for pets and owners alike.

 

Practice Highlights

 
* 3 Consultation rooms
* Dedicated rainbow room, providing a private space for farewells
* Separate cat and dog waiting areas
* Dedicated imaging room
 

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

 

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

 

Working Pattern

 
* 40 hours per week
* Working shifts on a rota basis, Monday to Friday
* 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
* No out of hours or on-call duties
* We are also open to part-time applications
 

General Responsibilities

 
* Nurse clinics
* Theatre work
* Supporting with diagnostics including lab and imaging
* Inpatient care

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:

 
* Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
* Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
* Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
* A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
