Supporting a Population of c.1,000 Employees Across Technology & Operations Functions

Salary circa £50k per annum

An excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor, People Advisor or HR Business Partner looking to step into a highly visible, strategic-facing role supporting senior leaders across a large and complex business area.

We're partnering with a leading organisation undergoing significant transformation to recruit a People Consultant.

Why This Role is Different

This is not a transactional HR position.

You won't be processing letters, managing HR administration, or handling routine HR operations. Dedicated HR Operations teams support those activities. Instead, you'll focus on providing people advice, coaching managers, interpreting policy, delivering people initiatives, and supporting strategic workforce priorities.

You'll work closely with senior leaders across Technology and Operations functions, acting as an extension of the People Partner team and helping to translate people strategy into practical business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

? Providing expert HR advice and guidance to managers and senior leaders on a range of people matters.

? Building trusted relationships across a large business area and influencing leaders to make effective people decisions.

? Coaching managers on people policies, performance management, employee engagement, organisational change and workforce challenges.

? Supporting the delivery of people plans and organisational initiatives aligned to strategic business objectives.

? Analysing workforce data and people metrics to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

? Producing meaningful insights and data-driven recommendations for leadership teams.

? Supporting workforce planning, talent discussions and organisational development activities.

? Facilitating workshops, engagement sessions and manager capability initiatives.

? Working collaboratively with specialist teams including Employee Relations, Learning & Development and HR Centres of Excellence.

? Challenging established ways of working and supporting continuous improvement across people practices.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

• Previous experience in an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor, People Advisor, HR Consultant or similar role.
• Strong experience providing HR advice and coaching to managers.
• Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at management and senior management level.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience interpreting HR policy and applying it pragmatically within a business context.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using people data, metrics and insights to support decision-making.
• Experience supporting organisational change, workforce planning, talent or people initiatives.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
