Active Directory Engineer - W2 Only

Job Title: Active Directory Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC/Chandler, AZ/Iselin, NJ/Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite/2days remote)

Note: Need Locals and W2 Candidates Only

 

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• This is an engineering position, not an operations or administrator position. Engineer is expected to have hands on experience building, configuring and managing active directory domain controllers in a highly complex environment.

 

MUST HAVES_

• 5 + years Active Directory Engineering
• Power Shell Scripting
• Experience with Domain Controller Virtualization.
• Experience building domain controllers
• Experience with Domain Controller Management/Administration
• Experience using Jira
• Experience working in Agile environment.
• The Active Directory senior engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining enterprise-level Active Directory (AD) environments.
• This role ensures secure, scalable, and compliant identity and access management across the organization.

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with Active Directory administration in large enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Group Policy, DNS, and related technologies.
• Proven ability to design and implement secure AD architectures.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell preferred).
• Familiarity with IAM frameworks, privileged access management, and compliance requirements.

 

Preferred skills

• Experience with Azure AD, hybrid identity solutions, and cloud integrations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
• Experience with Microsoft HyperV Management.
