Delivery Consultant: Full Stack Engineer, AWS Professional Services

We are seeking a hands on Delivery Consultant with software engineering and cloud architecture expertise to deliver consulting engagements within AWS Professional Services. This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse technologies-from modern front ends to cloud native back ends-while designing innovative solutions that directly impact customers.

Key job responsibilities

• Solution Delivery: Work directly with customers to understand requirements, architect solutions, and deliver working software. Build distributed systems, modernise existing applications, and implement best practices across cloud environments.
• Full Stack Development: Design, build, and ship cloud native applications end to end. Develop responsive front end interfaces (e.g., React, Vue) and scalable back end services (e.g., Python, .NET, PostgreSQL), deploying on AWS with infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agentic Engineering: Use AI powered development tools as part of your daily workflow. Champion agentic software development methodologies and leverage AI to accelerate coding, testing, code review, and delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer facing consulting experience designing and implementing software solutions.
• 3+ years of strong hands on experience in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript or .NET, with strong foundations in system design.
• Experience with AWS technologies, including designing, deploying, and operating cloud native solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with application modernisation patterns and strategies, including refactoring and re platforming techniques.
• Experience in API design and implementation (e.g., REST, GraphQL, gRPC), including authentication and authorisation using identity protocols such as OAuth.
• Experience with one or more modern relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), including data modelling and query optimisation.
• Experience with one or more modern front end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular), including component based architecture and state management.
• Experience with distributed systems, event driven architectures, and microservices patterns at scale.
• Experience with agentic software development methodologies, using AI agents to accelerate development workflows, including coding, testing, debugging, and code review.
