Job Description
Manpower Permanent Placement is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a leading industrial company, for a PMO - P&L & Performance Support role (M/F/X)
In this position, you will join the Strategy team and play a key role in giving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making at the highest level of the organization. Acting as a true business partner to top management, you will contribute to improving profitability and ensuring long-term sustainable performance.
Your Tasks:
Your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain a comprehensive view of the profit and loss accounts for a portfolio of existing projects. You will ensure alignment between budget, actual results, and forecasts while identifying the key drivers impacting profitability. By consolidating and structuring performance data, you will deliver clear and reliable insights to management and steering committees, highlighting deviations and their financial implications.
You will also be responsible for monitoring the progress of action plans aimed at improving profitability. This includes tracking responsibilities, deadlines, and measurable outcomes, while proactively identifying risks and ensuring full transparency. Acting as a financial liaison across departments, you will ensure consistency and accuracy between operational activities and financial reporting.
In addition, you will support strategic analyses related to profitability improvement, outsourcing opportunities, and potential project discontinuation. You will contribute to structuring and standardizing performance tracking methods, profitability assessments, and reporting frameworks.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of profit and loss management and profitability in an industrial environment. You are able to connect operational, commercial, and financial drivers and demonstrate excellent analytical and structuring capabilities. You are confident in challenging assumptions and financial data, and you communicate clearly with both management and cross-functional teams.
English is mandatory and German is an asset.
