Role: Business Data Analyst

Location: Remote

Duration: through year end with likelihood of extension and possible conversion

 

• We are seeking an experienced Data/Business Analyst to support our rapidly growing Rx Business Unit. As a key member of the team, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the liaison between IT and business stakeholders, gather requirements while working with the different teams within the Therapeutic BU.
• Collaborate with the vendors to help translate the Business reqs to technical reqs.
• Manage day to day data operations (including communicating data issues, impacts), providing guidance on resolution, addressing adhoc. data request and data extracts, performing data discoveries on new data sets.
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are functionally accurate.
• Assess current IT and business processes to improve efficiency with the data quality. Ensure high-quality, accurate data by providing recommendations for validating data from diverse sources (e.g., CRM, SP/HUB, IQVIA, MMIT etc.)
• Collaborate with the vendor team on data governance, reviewing documentation including KPIs, business rules, data flows , process flows.
• Lead discussions to implement new/enhancements on dashboards and reports.

 

Required Qualifications

Experience:

• 5-7 years of experience in data management, data governance, data integration and analysis, business intelligence, MDM, requirement gathering, stakeholder interaction in the Dermatology, pharmaceutical industry. Experience in patient data, claims data is a plus.

 

Technical Skills:

• SQL skills; strong proficiency in Power BI, or similar data visualization tools; Strong understanding in data warehouse, ETL concepts, strong understanding of Master data management process, experience with Agile methodologies.
