Job Description:
• Client is seeking a qualified contractor to provide Senior Business Systems Analyst augmentation services.
• The selected contractor will serve as a resource supporting Procurement in Workday and other procurement-related applications with a focus on analysis, processes, data integrity.
• The contractor will operate with a high degree of independence and will collaborate with the Procurement team, IT, vendors, and countywide department end users to ensure systems work effectively through analysis and trouble shooting.
Scope of Work
Business Analysis
• Review, analyze, and evaluated business processes and current configurations and integrations.
• Identify and recommend process and system improvements across Procurement operations.
• Translate business processes into technical requirements with vendors and technical teams in IT and other departments.

• Support existing systems, databases, and applications utilized by Procurement.
• Develop recommendations for system enhancements to improve performance and scalability.
• Provide troubleshooting and resolution of system and application issues and work with subject matter experts as needed.
• Serve as escalation point for technical problems and coordinate with vendors, IT and other partners as needed.

• Coordinate User Testing with procurement and end users and ERP partners.
• Create test cases, maintain documentation and issue resolution.
• Ensure data integrity, to maintain compliance, security and reliability.
• Implement and monitor appropriate controls across integrated systems and data environments.

• Create and maintain documentation related to business requirements, business processes, security roles, configurations and integrations Act as a subject matter resource for system usage, process guidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaboration & Communication:
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed.
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate understanding and maintain content integrity.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment between business processes and technical solutions.
• Clearly communicate complex technical concepts in simple, understandable terms for non technical stakeholders.
• Tailors messaging and format based on audience knowledge, context, and needs.

General Minimum Qualifications or Experience
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of job-related experience
• In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis

• Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, and/or related field
• Experience supporting enterprise systems and complex business processes
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communications skills for collaboration across the organization
• Experience working with vendors and technical teams
Preferred Qualifications or Experience For Role
• Systems and application software experience including using database tools, word processing and spreadsheets
• Experience with procurement and financial ERP software including systems analysis procedures, design and implementation
• Experience with process mapping and technology projects
• Experience with Project Management; training or certification
• Experience with M365 tools (including SharePoint, MS Lists, PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate, Visio, Teams, etc.), SQL Service Management Studio, PowerShell, Smartsheet, etc
