Azure DevOps Engineer

Azure DevOps Engineer | 3-month contract | £500 - £550 per day, Outside IR35 Legal Firm | Remote with very occasional office visits to Birmingham | Immediate start We are working with a large UK based Legal Organisation who are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join their Applications and Development team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for driving automation, improving platform reliability and supporting the continued migration and optimisation of applications within Azure.

You'll work closely with development teams to deliver scalable, secure and highly available cloud solutions, whilst helping to shape and mature the organisation's DevOps and cloud capabilities.

Responsibilities Design, build and maintain Azure infrastructure and platform services.<br />Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.<br />Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and automation tooling.<br />Support the migration and modernisation of existing applications into Azure.<br />Improve monitoring, logging and observability across environments.<br />Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes.<br />Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment and performance issues.<br />Ensure environments adhere to security, resilience and disaster recovery best practices.Skills &amp; Experience Experienced Azure DevOps Engineer<br />Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.<br />Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.<br />Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.<br />Containerisation and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.<br />Scripting skills with PowerShell, Bash or Python.<br />Exposure to C#, .NET or ASP.NET environments.<br />Experience migrating applications and services from on-premise environments into Azure.<br />Familiarity with monitoring, logging and observability tools.<br />Strong understanding of cloud security and governance principles.Contract Details Azure DevOps Engineer<br />£500-£550 per day<br />Outside IR35<br />Initial 3-month contract<br />Remote-first, with occasional travel to Birmingham (typically 1 day per month)<br />Immediate start available
