You will be part of a collaborative team of engineers and technicians working to support sustainment activities within the Strategic Systems unit at NSWC Crane. Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently with changing deadlines and priorities.
- Interact directly with customers to extract requirements, generate a plan, and report status .
- Prepare Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) to revise official drawings.
- Conduct Failure Analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Create Quality Acceptance documents using drawings and program requirements to validate new hardware.
Qualifications
?REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and three (3) years or more experience.
- Experience with engineering design, modeling, and drawing development .
- Knowledge of systems engineering and integration principles such as requirements definition, verification and validation testing, interface control documents (ICDs) and systems engineering management plans (SEMP).
- Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and work well independently and as part of a team.
- Interim secret clearance is required to start with the ability to obtain a secret clearance. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Familiar with quality management systems, familiar with ASME drafting standards, troubleshooting experience, experience with Product Data Management Systems (e.g., Windchill, iPDM), SolidWorks and/or CREO.
