Job description

Develop and support production Python applications and web interfaces for an equity derivatives technology platform. Build integrations with APIs, databases, and market data systems; improve data processing, testing, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability. The role is an onsite contract position in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and modernize production Python applications and services.
  • Build and maintain web UI components and interactive workflows integrated with backend services.
  • Develop integrations using REST and Graph
  • QL APIs, databases, file feeds, and event-driven interfaces.
  • Create data access, transformation, validation, and scheduled processing components using Python, SQL, and Pandas.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve logging, monitoring, performance, and application resilience.
  • Write automated tests, participate in code reviews and releases, and maintain technical documentation.
