About the role

Rabobank's Workplace Technical Services team has an opening for a Desktop Support Analyst in our Sydney CBD office. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

You will bring your proven IT Support experience to hit the ground running providing advice & guidance on all IT related matters for Rabobank staff in Australia & New Zealand & liaise with service desks in other Rabobank regions.

The Workplace Support team work rotating shifts during operating hours (Monday to Friday 06:30-18:30 AEST). The Desktop Support Analyst works in the office when scheduled while still accommodating hybrid working from home. From time to time, the role requires working outside of normal office hours and public holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical telephone, in-person & remote assistance support for end user devices, Standard Operating Environment & applications
  • Ensure Desktop Support Infrastructure is insulated from unauthorised access, virus infection or any security vulnerabilities & conforms to Rabobank Standards & Policies
  • Update & maintain the Asset Management & CMDB system to ensure data integrity
  • Assume ownership of user queries & co-ordinate escalation of calls to second-line & third-line support
  • Ensure business targets are delivered within agreed SLAs
  • Collate statistical information for weekly & monthly reports
  • Maintain Workplace Support documentation & Knowledgebase
  • Maintain & Support the Mobile Device Management system
  • Assist with projects as required
Qualifications
  • 2 years + experience in a Desktop Support role
  • Team player with a passion for IT & helping people
  • Knowledge in PC / laptop hardware support, configuration & troubleshooting
  • Knowledge in Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Technical qualifications in Microsoft technologies
  • Self-reliant in managing own work queues & setting priorities in the resolution of problems
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly at all levels
  • Customer focus & desire for personal improvement
  • Experience in some of the following highly regarded: Active Directory, MS Exchange, Office 365, Windows 11, Windows Server Administration
