AM Maintenance Fitter - Food

Maintenance Fitter Immediate Start Day Shift 6:00am - 2:00pm $49 - $57 per hour + Super (depending on experience)

Permanent Full-Time Opportunity We are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters for multiple permanent positions with an established and growing food manufacturing business. About the Role Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of processing and production equipment to ensure maximum plant reliability and efficiency.
This is a permanent day shift position working Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, with an immediate start available for the right candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment
• Fault finding and breakdown repairs
• Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
• Ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams

About You

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent trade qualification
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing or processing environment
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
• Full Australian working rights

Highly Desirable

• Food manufacturing or food processing experience
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic and steam systems
• TIG and Stick welding experience
• Exposure to industrial refrigeration systems
• Experience maintaining production or processing lines
