They are seeking dedicated Mechatronics Technicians, Electricians, or Electronics Technicians to join their Technical Systems department, specifically supporting baggage handling systems. The Role • Support operational teams with comprehensive monitoring, maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks on airport premises after an individual induction phase. • Independently resolve electro-technical, electrical, and mechanical faults in conveyor and sorting systems, as well as passenger boarding bridges. • Conduct root cause analysis for issues and eliminate potential sources of disruption. • Participate in new construction and renovation projects while ongoing airport operations continue. What You'll Need • Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, Electronics Technician, or Industrial Mechanic, or a comparable qualification. • Previous professional experience in a relevant field. • For Mechatronics/Electrician/Electronics roles, good knowledge of PLC technology (Siemens S7), bus systems, automation technology, and mechanical skills are advantageous. • Industrial Mechanics should be willing to undergo further training as an electrical specialist for specified tasks. • Experience in conveyor technology is beneficial but not essential. • Proficiency with current PC and communication systems for documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
