Senior Data Analyst (Power BI & Google Cloud Platform)

Location: CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Role Overview

The Senior Power BI & Google Cloud Platform Data Analytics Consultant will translate enterprise data into actionable insights through executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, automated Google Cloud Platform pipelines, and Statistical Process Control reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions.
• Develop ETL and ELT processes to ingest data from enterprise applications, APIs, operational systems, and third-party sources.
• Partner with business teams to define, document, and operationalize KPI frameworks and metric standards.
• Develop and maintain Statistical Process Control reporting for Human-in-the-Loop and operational process management programs.
• Perform trend analysis, forecasting, statistical analysis, and operational assessments to identify risks and opportunities.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and delivery reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, product owners, and enterprise architects to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Establish reporting standards, governance, and technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI solutions.
• 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery.
• Advanced experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT development, data integration, and building scalable analytics pipelines.
• Experience building executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and operational reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and business intelligence best practices.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) analytics, AI Operations, or Process Intelligence programs.
• Experience implementing Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and control chart development.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence frameworks.
• Proficiency with Python and API integration.
• Experience with data governance and metadata management.
• Experience with process mining, observability, or workflow analytics platforms.
• Experience in financial services or another regulated industry.
