Systems Engineer, Sr.

This role sits within the IT Server Operations team in a Network Operations Center (NOC) environment, where the focus is on server support and operational efficiency. The IT Server Operations Analyst will engage in monitoring, incident response, and maintenance tasks while collaborating closely with the broader Server Operations team on cloud onboarding and automation initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills in both on-prem and cloud environments, including AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor server performance and health, responding promptly to alerts and incidents to ensure system reliability and uptime.
• Coordinate support tickets and manage incident response workflows to resolve issues efficiently.
• Execute maintenance windows, including DNS updates and failover/failback processes, to maintain operational integrity.
• Collaborate with the Server Operations team on automation initiatives and cloud onboarding efforts to improve operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in server operations or infrastructure support roles, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux environments, with practical experience in managing both.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows using platforms such as SolarWinds Orion or Dynatrace.
• Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, including familiarity with CloudWatch and/or Azure Monitor.
