We're hiring on behalf of a leading industrial building fabricator seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Supervisor to join their dynamic Design Engineering team. This role is crucial for supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring the production of high-quality technical drawings, models, and documentation. This is a direct hire position.

The Role

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of CAD designers and drafters.
• Assign workloads, balance priorities, and ensure project timelines are met.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support the professional development of team members.
• Foster a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate daily CAD operations to support engineering, manufacturing, and project delivery.

What You'll Need

• Proven experience as a CAD Designer or Drafter with demonstrated progression into a leadership role.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, drafting standards, and design documentation.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines concurrently.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations is a plus.
