Senior Settlements Specialist – Equity and Securities Lending – Capital Markets Bank - CassonX

CassonX are delighted to be recruiting for one the biggest names in Global Banking, and thrilled to be recruiting for this Capital Market institution. This has been going through a huge growth phase over the last couple of years, and now offering prominent solutions the Equity and Fixed Income markets, including a very successful Prime Brokerage offering. It’s a really exciting time for the bank, with lots on incredibly good change taking place. This role has become available as the current incumbent is moving internally to become a Junior Trader.

To be considered for this role, CassonX are looking to identify an experience Equity Settlements clerk, with exposure to Domestic, Clearstream and Euroclear experience in the European and UK market. Whilst we expect your experience to be gained in an Investment Banking or Capital Markets settlements environment of an Investment Bank or Brokerage firm, it is deemed highly advantageous that you possess exposure to Securities Lending transactions, and further exposure Asian market settlements, Triparty, REPO or Prime Brokerage Settlements expertise. As this role directly supports the Front Office / Desk, you must be able to communicate well and willing to contribute in morning and lunchtime calls. Any systems exposure to Global1, Pirum, DTC, EquiLend, NeoLink or ADP is advantageous, so is Excel and Python, and an understanding of T+1 and CSDR.

You primary responsibility it is to achieve timely settlement of all European and UK Equity transactions, also Securities Lending, but to provide support to the wider Fixed Income settlements team. This will involve pre-matching all trades on trade date, executing stock settlement working with agent banks, reconciling all positions and making sure that all unmatched or failing trades are investigated and resolved to prevent fees and buyins.
