Go Lang Developer

Job Title:GoLang Developer Location: Burgess Hill Rate: £280-£290 a day Start Date: Mid September Job Type: Contract 12 months Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with strong hands-on Golang coding experience and solid Java development skills to join a project for a leading financial services organisation.

A key requirement for this role is practical experience using AI tools as part of the software development lifecycle, including leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve coding productivity, debugging, testing, documentation and overall engineering efficiency. Key Skills & Experience Mandatory:

Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go)<br />Strong experience with Java<br />Approximately 10 years of overall software engineering experience<br />At least 5 years of relevant development experience<br />Strong software engineering and problem-solving skills<br />Experience developing and maintaining production-grade applications<br />Hands-on experience using AI tools in software developmentGood to Have:

SQL<br />Apache Kafka<br />Experience working with distributed and scalable systems<br />Experience working in Agile development environments AI Development Experience Candidates should be comfortable using modern AI-assisted development tools in their day-to-day engineering work, including tools for:

Code generation and code completion<br />Code refactoring and optimisation<br />Debugging and troubleshooting<br />Unit test generation<br />Documentation<br />Developer productivity and automation Responsibilities Design, develop, test and maintain high-quality software applications<br />Write clean, efficient and maintainable Golang and Java code<br />Work closely with architects, developers, QA and other stakeholders<br />Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues<br />Contribute to technical design and implementation decisions<br />Develop and maintain APIs and backend services<br />Participate in code reviews and engineering best practices<br />Use AI-assisted development tools effectively to enhance engineering productivity<br />Support application testing, deployment and production issues<br />Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes Contract &amp; Location Contract duration: 1 year initially<br />Location:
