VB6 Developer

VB6 Developer Rate: between £380 - £435 Clearance Required: BPSS Duration: 6 months Location: Telford - 2 days on site IR35 Status: Inside We are seeking a motivated and adaptable developer to join the LDC (Local Data Capture) capability within the wider CESA engineering set-up. This role is well suited to someone with a strong core development background who is keen to learn and work within a complex legacy estate, supporting the ongoing delivery and stability of critical client services. The successful candidate will work closely with Delivery Leads, engineers, and service teams to develop and support LDC components, while building knowledge of the platform and its associated tooling.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and support LDC components within the CESA estate<br />Contribute to delivery of changes, ensuring quality and stability across releases<br />Investigate and resolve defects and production issues<br />Work closely with Delivery Managers and service teams to align development with delivery and live service priorities<br />Adhere to established processes, controls, and standards within a legacy environment<br />Actively build knowledge of the LDC platform and associated technologies Technical Skills / Experience:Experience or exposure to: VB6<br />Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0<br />NuMega DevPartner Studio<br />VB6 ActiveX Components<br />VBA Experience working with integration and tooling, including:<br />SOAP Toolkits<br />Team Foundation Server (TFS)<br />XML<br />Edge<br />Integrated Single Sign On (ISSO) Experience working in controlled, production-critical environments is beneficial Desirable (CESA-specific): Exposure to (or willingness to learn): GovRules Client<br />GovRules Integrated Design Environment<br />GovRules Native Language (Java-derived)If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website
