Our diverse business lines ensure the company is a leading player in a wide variety of global markets.Due to the strong growth of our business we are looking for an Application Engineer to join our local engineering team to support our clients and national sales network.PurposeWork with external stakeholders to understand project requirementsInform customers and internal sales about the best solutions dedicated to the projectSupport for the Pre-Sales activityPreliminary engineering and pricingCross-functional support for the projectProduct placement within the project specificationsResponsibilitiesFeasibility analysis request for estimateEstimated costs and creation of proposalsEnsure that the most appropriate and relevant solutions for each offer are discussed with the various departmentsManage all aspects of the bidding process to ensure deadlines are metActivitiesFeasibility analysis of requests for offersDevelop business proposals in a professional way following company standardsSupport the bid process and managementSupport the sales network in technical discussions with customersContacts with suppliers for requests for offers for specific materialLiaise with our global factory and engineering teams for design scope, estimation and productionPeriodic technical visits to manufacturing facilitiesKnowledgesExcellent knowledge of the Office packageExcellent knowledge of EnglishHigh technical knowledge of the productGood knowledge of the principles of Project ManagementSkillsCommunication and relational skillsOrganizational and management skillsAttention to detailProblem Solving and Teamwork SkillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsDegree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalentAvailability to travel interstate and internationallyIf you feel you have the right skill set to meet the role then please do not hesitate to contact us.We want to hear from you!
