Job Description



D365 System Administrator (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations)


Job Type: Direct-Hire


Location: Hybrid, Centennial


Salary Range: $115,000-$140,000 (Dependent on experience)


Summary


We are seeking a D365 System Administrator to support and enhance a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) environment for a growing enterprise organization. This individual will serve as the primary administrator and operational owner of the ERP platform, ensuring system reliability, security, performance, and user adoption across multiple business functions.


The ideal candidate combines strong ERP administration experience with a customer-focused approach and a passion for continuous improvement.



Responsibilities



  • Administer and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations environments.

  • Configure and maintain system settings, business rules, and platform parameters.

  • Monitor system performance, integrations, batch processing, and overall platform health.

  • Manage environment refreshes, upgrades, deployments, and maintenance activities.

  • Utilize Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) to oversee environment management and system updates.

  • Administer user accounts, security roles, permissions, and access controls.

  • Conduct security audits, access reviews, and support compliance initiatives.

  • Maintain segregation of duties and governance standards across the ERP platform.

  • Configure and troubleshoot workflows, approvals, and automated business processes.

  • Partner with business teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements.

  • Serve as an escalation point for application support and issue resolution

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), release planning, and production deployments.

  • Maintain system documentation, support procedures, and knowledge base content.

  • Contribute to ERP governance initiatives and long-term platform strategy.



Skills


Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related discipline; equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.

  • Experience managing ERP security, user provisioning, and role-based access controls.

  • Strong troubleshooting and application support experience within enterprise systems.

  • Experience supporting software releases, deployments, and system updates.

  • Ability to work effectively with business users, technical teams, and external vendors.


Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate.

  • Familiarity with OData, Data Management Framework (DMF), and data integrations.

  • Experience with ERP integrations and middleware platforms.

  • Industry experience within manufacturing, construction services, distribution, asset management, or related sectors.

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310)

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management Functional Consultant Associate (MB-330)

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)

  • Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200)
