QE Automation Engineer — Spanish Proficiency Required

Location: Austin, TX — Hybrid
Duration: 6 months (contract)
Experience Required: 8–10 years

Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineering Automation professional to build and maintain automated test coverage across UI and backend APIs. Professional proficiency in Spanish is mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Create automation test cases using Core Java, RestAssured (REST APIs), and Selenium, ensuring maximum automation coverage for functional testing across both UI and backend APIs
• Build automation jobs for test coverage and monitor failures and bugs
• Develop automation test plans and test scripts using TestNG and Maven
• Write and optimize SQL queries against relational and NoSQL databases
• Build and run Splunk queries for log analysis and issue investigation
• Report QA status to stakeholders on a daily basis, reflecting the overall quality of the product
• Maintain functional feature knowledge base to support strong project documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• Professional proficiency in Spanish (mandatory)
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on automation testing experience
• Core Java, Selenium, RestAssured (REST APIs)
• TestNG and Maven
• Git, modern IDEs, gRPC, Postman
• Test Management and Defect Management tools
• Strong SQL database knowledge; experience with NoSQL (Cassandra)
• Hands-on experience with Splunk queries
• Strong communication skills for daily stakeholder reporting
