IT Project Manager

My client is offering an IT Project Manager the chance to take real ownership of client technology projects and relationships, with clear routes into senior technical or managerial roles as the business keeps growing.

This IT Project Manager role protects your work-life balance by design, with a structured workflow that lets you leave work at work and a holiday allowance that rises the longer you stay.

As IT Project Manager, you'll steer a varied portfolio of IT projects from proposal through to delivery. You'll write estimates and project communications, coordinate technical and creative specialists, and make sure every project lands on time and on budget. You'll also become a trusted adviser to your clients, running IT review meetings, overseeing their IT support packages and helping shape their long-term IT strategy, building account relationships that grow year after year.

This opportunity would suit a project manager, or an experienced project administrator ready to step up, who enjoys being the calm, organised link between clients and technical teams. Strong communication, negotiation and decision-making skills will help you thrive here. Any background in technical project management or PRINCE2 will give you a head start, and you'll find plenty of space to put your energy and ambition to good use.

Alongside a competitive salary with frequent reviews, you'll enjoy a package built around your wellbeing and growth:

• 33 days' holiday including bank holidays, rising with service, plus the option to buy and sell holiday
• Vitality private health insurance, a 24/7 UK-based GP service and free access to a confidential personal life coach
• Tailored development plans and genuine advancement opportunities, whether your aspirations are technical or managerial
• Flexible working requests considered for everyone, plus an electric car scheme after 12 months

My client is a 120-strong technology business that has grown steadily over nearly two decades without ever losing sight of its values of transparency and honesty. Their mission is to drive exceptional business growth for their clients by combining the best advice with a dynamic range of technology solutions, and they bring the same care to their own people. They are carbon neutral and active in their local communities, and they fund a full calendar of social events, from football, cycling and BBQs to lunch-and-learn sessions. Their Wymondham office has a 24/7 in-house gym and showers, plus open-plan spaces and breakout areas with gaming set-ups for lunchtime competitions, making it a collaborative, supportive place where an IT Project Manager can make a real mark.
