Job Description

Job description:

  • ETL/ELT Expertise: 5+ years of experience designing and migrating datasets from heterogeneous on-premises sources to Snowflake cloud data warehouse.
  • Data Migration Methodology: Strong understanding of profiling, cleansing, and validation processes.
  • Data Warehousing: Solid knowledge of dimensional modeling and data architecture principles.
  • Source Systems: Hands-on experience ingesting data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4, SAP BI, SAP HANA, on-prem SQL databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL), and structured/semi-structured datasets.
  • Tools & Technologies: Proficiency in SAP BODS, Fivetran, Airbyte, ADF, Python, and other ELT tools for Snowflake migrations.
  • Snowflake & Analytics: Advanced SQL skills, dbt experience, and strong Snowflake expertise.
  • Programming: Practical knowledge of Python, SQL, and Linux scripting.
  • Orchestration: Experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration tools.
  • Preferred: Exposure to Snowflake AI/ML capabilities.
  • Reporting Tools: Experience in developing PowerBI Reporting is an added plus.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work independently with high-level requirements, troubleshoot effectively, and deliver quick resolutions.
