Event Marketing Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Event Marketing Coordinator position based in Roseland, NJ. While the role is remote, the client prefers someone local to the area.
We''re looking for an experienced Event Marketing Coordinator to lead conferences, trade shows, and marketing events from planning through execution, including vendor management, budgeting, logistics, and post-event reporting.
Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage conferences, trade shows, webinars, sponsorships, and marketing events.
• Coordinate event logistics, including venue selection, contracts, travel, vendors, and onsite event management.
• Develop and maintain event calendars, project plans, budgets, and reporting.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and leadership to execute successful events.
• Track event performance, ROI, and lead generation metrics.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of event marketing or event management experience, preferably supporting large technology or B2B conferences and trade shows.
• Experience managing budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations.
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint required).
• Experience with project management tools such as Workfront, Smartsheet, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM systems, and event management software is preferred.
• Ability to travel approximately 25–30%.
