Jira Administrator

Role Summary
This position is responsible for managing and maintaining the Atlassian ecosystem, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. The role requires a seasoned Atlassian Administrator who will oversee platform configurations, drive process enhancements, and support enterprise-wide adoption. The individual will collaborate with various business and technical stakeholders to ensure a scalable, efficient, and centralized collaboration environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimize Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence platforms.
• Design, develop, and maintain workflows, projects, queues, forms, permissions, automations, dashboards, and reports.
• Support service management processes, project tracking, change management, and knowledge management initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and implement scalable platform solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations through APIs, webhooks, and third-party tools.
• Develop governance standards, best practices, and strategies to promote platform adoption and consistency.
• Create comprehensive documentation and provide end-user support and training.
• Drive process improvements to enhance platform efficiency and user experience.
• Monitor platform performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure continuous operation.
• Stay current with Atlassian product updates and industry best practices to recommend enhancements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of direct experience in Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence administration.
• Deep technical knowledge of Atlassian tools and configuration options.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proven experience configuring workflows, automation rules, permission schemes, and service management processes.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective platform solutions.
• Experience with Atlassian integrations, APIs, webhooks, and cross-platform connectivity.
• Background in engineering, systems administration, or other highly technical disciplines preferred.
• Experience supporting enterprise-wide platform adoption and governance initiatives.
• Atlassian certifications are a plus.
• Eligible to work in the specified location, with the position being fully remote.

Publishing Pay Range: $50.00 - $55.00 hourly

This position is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
