The Role

• Design and modify components, systems, or portions of systems using CAD equipment to develop or improve production.
• Support mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware design efforts from initial concepts through detailed design.
• Conduct design trade studies, volume packaging, and tolerance analysis.
• Plan, execute, develop, release, and control product definition data, including engineering models and drawings.
• Collaborate with business team members and engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met.
• Work closely with technicians on the creation and assembly of prototype hardware and test equipment.

What You'll Need

• Associate degree in a Design Drafting related field or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Mechanical Design Drafting, with at least 3 years in a Senior role.
• Familiarity with the comprehensive design process from conceptualization to manufacturing support.
• Strong understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Proficiency in 3D Solid modeling and associated file management systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
