Schedule: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

We are seeking reliable Packaging Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in West Jefferson, OH. This is a contract opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating production equipment, and maintaining high standards for safety and quality.
Responsibilities

• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and quality standards.
• Report any safety, quality, or equipment concerns to supervision.
• Operate packaging equipment, including case packers, conveyors, cappers, coders, sleevers, and robotic palletizing equipment.
• Load packaging materials and monitor equipment during production.
• Perform equipment changeovers, minor adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Set up equipment and materials for production runs.
• Complete required quality inspections and accurately document production information.
• Cover other operator positions during breaks and lunches as needed.
• Operate a manual pallet jack.
• Assist with inventory transactions and production reporting.
• Notify supervisors of major mechanical issues or equipment abnormalities.
• Train new team members when needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and required training.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

12-Hour Day Shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)

2-2-3 Rotation

Qualifications
Required

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work a rotating 12-hour schedule.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.

Preferred

• Previous manufacturing or food production experience.
• Experience operating high-speed packaging equipment or robotic palletizing systems.
• 1-3 months of manufacturing or production experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
