Do you want to make a genuine difference to someone’s life by providing consistent, one-to-one support in their own home?

Home Instead Charnwood is looking for a Live-In Care Professional to support a specific client who requires a male care professional due to personal care needs and preferences. This requirement is in line with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

This is an ideal role for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and values building meaningful relationships with the person they care for.

full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential.
You must also have full right to work in the UK – we are unable to offer sponsorship.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide live-in support for one client in their own home who is living with cerebral palsy.
  • Assist with personal care, medication prompts, meals, mobility, and daily routines
  • Carry out light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, and errands
  • Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement
  • Support the client in attending appointments and enjoying hobbies
  • Follow a personalised care plan and communicate regularly with the office team

What We’re Looking For

  • A care professional comfortable providing personal care to a male client
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

  • Excellent communication skills and a desire to support others
  • Experience is welcome but not essential – we provide full training
