Security and Fire Systems Service Engineer
Full-time, Monday to Friday 08.00 -17.00

Responsibilities:
- Corrective maintenance works - to include fault finding, troubleshooting and a first-time fix whenever possible
- Remedial and small works
- Preventative maintenance
- Client on site liaison
- Working with monitored systems in liaison with our Alarm Receiving Centre
- Act as a Fidelity ambassador when out in the field
- Completion of all required site and electronic paperwork promptly and with attention to detail
- Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all required disciplines.
- Participate in regular ongoing internal and external technical, regulatory, and health and safety training
- Mentorship and guidance for junior engineers and apprentices
- Participate in out-of-hours On Call Rota
Key Skills:
- Demonstrate good industry knowledge of all disciplines of integrated Security and Life Safety Systems.
- Technically strong on electrical principles
- Excellent problem-solving and fault-finding skills
- Sound knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
Good communication skills with both customers and colleagues
Multi-disciplined Service Engineer
Team orientated
Strong time-management skills
Confident user of Microsoft Office and working with networked/IP-based systems
Proactive
Able to run works autonomously
The ability to supervise and motivate other engineers
Self-motivated and willing to use initiative
Salary and Benefits:
£32,000 - £40,500, depending on skills and experience
Company vehicle and fuel card
Out of hours On Call is required roughly one week in six.£385/week standby payment, plus callouts at:£90 for travel to and first hour on site, your standard overtime rate for subsequent hours
Paid overtime at 1.5x standard hourly rate
