Director, SCADA Engineering

Director of Automation Engineering - REMOTE 

We are hiring a Director of Automation Engineering to lead a growing team supporting complex infrastructure and industrial technology projects.

This person will oversee engineering execution, team leadership, technical standards, and cross-functional coordination across project delivery and field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead controls, automation, and integration engineering efforts.

• Manage hiring, team development, utilization, budgets, and milestones.

• Oversee commissioning support, technical quality, and issue escalation.

• Improve documentation, workflows, and engineering consistency.

• Partner with internal teams, vendors, and customers to support successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

• 10+ years of automation, controls, or systems integration experience.

• 7+ years of engineering leadership experience.

• Strong experience with industrial control systems and technical project execution.

• U.S. work authorization required; no third-party sponsorship.
